Car Parking Shed Fabrication – Description

The car parking shed shall be designed, fabricated, supplied, and installed as per approved drawings and specifications. The structure shall be suitable for long-term outdoor use and capable of withstanding wind loads, rain, and environmental conditions.

Structural Framework:

• The main framework shall be fabricated from mild steel (MS) sections such as hollow sections, pipes, angles, channels, or I-sections as specified.

• All steel members shall be cut, welded, drilled, and assembled in accordance with standard fabrication practices.

• Welding shall be done using approved electrodes, ensuring proper strength and finish.

• Base plates shall be provided and fixed to RCC foundations using anchor bolts.

Surface Treatment:

• All steel surfaces shall be cleaned of rust, oil, and scale.

• The structure shall be finished with one coat of red oxide/zinc-rich primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint or as specified.
  (Alternatively, hot-dip galvanization may be provided if specified.)

Roofing System:

• Roofing shall be provided using color-coated GI sheets / polycarbonate sheets / tensile fabric as per design requirements.

• Sheets shall be fixed with self-drilling screws, washers, and necessary flashing to ensure watertightness.

• Proper slope shall be maintained for rainwater drainage.

Accessories & Finishing:

• Gutters and downpipes shall be provided where required.

• All sharp edges shall be ground smooth.

• The entire shed shall be aligned, leveled, and securely fixed.

Installation & Safety:

• Erection shall be carried out at site using proper lifting tools and safety measures.

• The completed parking shed shall be stable, durable, and aesthetically acceptable.
